More Loughner "Right-wing" Ramblings....

In the most recent video released, Loughner is traipsing around his campus uttering things about the "illegal and unconstitutional wars" we are in, and how the students are being tortured because they will be sent to fight these "unjust wars" ....does any of that sound vaguely familiar? Seems like just the other day, some pinhead 'rightie' was yammering here about the "unjust war" and how it was illegal and unconstitutional.

Since the left seems to think we need to reel in political speech to avoid setting off another loose cannon like Loughner, I wonder if that means we have to now silence the anti-war rhetoric and dissent? That seems to be something that stuck in his craw, he seems to have a real problem with that... so, I think it's prudent, if we are going to start placing restrictions on free speech, we start with the things that he was most vocal about... obviously, some rhetoric influenced his thoughts, and obviously the "unjust illegal war" rhetoric was right up there on his list.

Come to think of it... Giffords supported funding for Iraq and Afghanistan... maybe THAT was why Loughner acted?

sure that fuckwadd is not from Bama, home of the Jesus freak gov too stupid not to spew his freakness on TV?

???....are you saying the Alabama governor believes 9/11 is a conspiracy, that the war in Iraq is unconstitutional, that flags should be burned and we should return to the gold standard?......

I'm saying BAMA is the dumbest state in the union. Electing a Jesus freak who spouts retarded hate on day 1.

Guilty conscience, Dixie? You guys remind me of the poor defense attorney tasked with defending the indefensible. It is not a specific single thing, it is an atmosphere of anti-government and anti Obama that is the cause of so much renewed violence and hatred of government. McVeigh materialized two years after Clinton was elected. Isn't it odd that anti-government terrorists materialize out of thin air after the republicans lose.

"As the president said in Tucson, we lack not just civil discourse, but honest discourse. Much of last week’s televised bloviation was dishonest, dedicated to the pious, feel-good sentiment that both sides are equally culpable for the rage of the past two years. To construct this false equivalency, every left-leaning Web site and Democratic politician’s record was dutifully culled for incendiary invective. If that’s the standard, then both sides are equally at fault — rhetoric can indeed be as violent on the left as on the right.

But that sidesteps the issue. This isn’t about angry blog posts or verbal fisticuffs. Since Obama’s ascension, we’ve seen repeated incidents of political violence. Just a short list would include the 2009 killing of three Pittsburgh police officers by a neo-Nazi Obama-hater; last year’s murder-suicide kamikaze attack on an I.R.S. office in Austin, Tex.; and the California police shootout with an assailant plotting to attack an obscure liberal foundation obsessively vilified by Beck." http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/16/opinion/16rich.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=frank rich&st=Search

"That is why they equate Sean Hannity with Keith Olbermann. That is why most celebrate an ever loosening of gun control laws; that is why they act as if “entitlement” programs are socialistic; that is why they campaign militantly against financial and corporate regulation in the name of a pure market that has never existed anywhere; that is why they speak in the name of a single, bellicose God for all Americans rather than a society of deep pluralism; that is why they resist unemployment insurance for the lower middle class; and that is why they push the filibuster envelope to the most extreme degree in the history of the country." Read article here.

Mudcan, I don't have a guilty anything, and no 'defense' is needed. This guy was an anti-war lefty, he didn't think the wars were legal, he thought it was unconstitutional. That is a line of thinking only found on the liberal left, and almost never on the right. He was also upset about being kicked out of his school and being 'homeless' ...again, a liberal lefty concern, not something those on the right are whining about anywhere I know of.

But here's the real kicker, the right has never maintained this guy acted because of his political views. It simply doesn't matter if he was a flaming liberal, he was a nut and did something crazy, regardless of his political leanings. It has been the LEFT who tried as hard as they could, to make this guy out to be a Tea Partier, when he is anything BUT! The LEFT sought to exploit this tragedy to press for their liberal agenda of more gun control and more restriction on political speech of the opposition. It's sleazy and despicable, and every independent and moderate voter in America sees it for just that.

Furthermore, the longer the LEFT continues to try and promote this storyline, the more this hurts the political standing of the liberal left. For some odd reason, in your retarded heads, you perceive this to be some kind of 'political win' you can achieve, if you just keep reiterating your baseless and unfounded attacks. The more that is attempted, the more repulsed America becomes with you. Some of you are starting to realize this, and have backed off the storyline, following the lead of your president, and retreating to this "kumbaya" approach of how we all need to get along and play nice. But liberals never mean it when they claim to want civility, it's not in a liberal's nature to be civil.

That is why I posted this, and I want to keep this issue at the top of the board as long as possible. There are MILLIONS of new voters out there, who are just starting to get their political feet wet, searching out answers on the internet, trying to get a sense of where the left and right stand on things... I think this is a GREAT topic for them to examine, it exposes the left for the fraudulent and manipulative liars and despicable garbage they are. Your continually spewing HATE, even in light of such a tragedy, does more to help the right than anything they could ever accomplish on their own... that's why you're not seeing much of a left-wing response here, most liberals, stupid as they are, know this is not turning out well for them. You're one of the more stupid liberals, you don't understand this. Keep on yapping, pinhead! Keep on yapping!

as I recall, Alabama isn't the state that builds one of its largest cities below sea level......and isn't the state that hasn't managed to rebuild since Katrina......

Here, I thought he was mentally ill and all of this was bullshit, but I guess the right has won, again.

Your trophies will be awarded in your great by and by...

the flooding of New Orleans was a result of shitty gov built levees.

you don't need shitty levees if you build above the water line......

Oh, dear; looks like you forgot what you wrote, yet again...

nope....it's right here....
as I recall, Alabama isn't the state that builds one of its largest cities below sea level......and isn't the state that hasn't managed to rebuild since Katrina......

are you pretending the fact NO was built below sea level wasn't the cause of almost all the damage that occurred?......
