More Guns--All Children Must Be Armed

Because the problem at Sandy Hook Elementary, was not enough children had guns. Numerous gun advocacy groups, including the Second Amendment Foundation and the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, have joined together to sponsor "Guns Save Lives Day" on Dec. 14 -- the one-year anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn. Because nothing says we’re saddened by the loss of these children like “let’s get more guns on the street and into the hands of weird young psychos like Adam Lanza."

Backers of the rally claim that post-Newtown gun control legislation has victimized guns rights advocates.

In an effort to "thwart government gun-grabbers," the organizers of "Guns Save Lives Day" have planned nationwide events to promote gun ownership. They are also featuring an online petition asking for donations and a call to “ARM YOURSELF and help ARM our movement."

Numerous pro-gun rallies -- including an attempt to storm the nation's capital with loaded rifles -- have popped up across the nation in light of recent mass shootings. None had marked the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary on Dec. 14 as a rallying call for gun advocacy until now.

“To hold a gun-glorifying event on Dec. 14, a day when America will remember the slaughter of 26 innocent Americans, including teachers and first-grade students, can be deemed nothing less than abject evil,” said Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense In America.

Get back on your meds, fool....same goes for the morons that thanked you idiocy.

Yes, yes, yes! All American babies over the age of two need to be armed with their own guns. The gun makers should make little guns that are light enough for a baby to handle safely. Maybe even a smaller caliber than 22 because the enemies babies will be defending themselves against will be other bad babies. It doesn't take much firepower to stop a bad baby.

The only thing that will stop a bad baby with a gun is a good baby with a gun.

For one so supposedly brilliant, why are you so simple-minded?

Why don't you start some threads about the mental illness crisis in this country?

Why don't you offer some suggestions about making access to mental health treatment easier?

Have you seen one mass shooter who wasn't mentally ill? For that matter can you point out a single person who committed murder by any means who didn't need mental help?

Do you honestly think your hysterics about arming children will have any effect whatsoever on the 300 million plus (and growing daily) number of guns in this country?

Do you honestly believe that your jack booted thugs will eventually be given permission to smash in their country-men's door and seize their legally owned weapons?

That they would do this on the anniversay for Sandy Hook is simply beyond the pale. These people are sick. Their souls and hearts are diseased.

and i'm betting that you wouldn't find anything wrong with an anti gun group holding some vigil and protest there, would you.

Good American babies with guns need to start shooting bad American babies with guns. Or just make sure all bad babies get a loaded gun to play with as a soother. Cuz guns are wot's gud. grunt, grunt.

I dunno..more guns seems counter intuitive. Maybe some prepared guards, teachers, so if (when) another shooting happens the defense isn't just "Shelter in Place"

Damn if i'd want to be a sitting duck.

No, not more armed guards and armed teachers. More guns mean more gun violence. When 'will' you Americans start to trust your intuition?

Canadians are 'not' sitting ducks and the reason is because we have strict control over guns. Especially handguns which can't be carried around at a person's whim.

When Americans don't care to have handguns and assault weapons then they won't have them and the problem will diminish. Arming good guys to defend against bad guys has never been the solution. The solution has always been in the heads of Americans where the problems are.

Guards are worthless without the proper mindset, as we saw in the Naval Yard.

You could start one and use your personal situation as a theme.

Adam Lanza was certainly a tragedy, but Democrats addressing gun issues is a complete travesty.

Im a gun owner and I own more than a few but im for background checks and closing all gun show loopholes, ive bought guns at gunshows and its ridiculous how easy it is for a nutjob to buy a gun and bring it home that same day. Should not be allowed.
Having said that im for gun ownership by non criminal stable americans and Im for enough controls to assure thats the case. There is absolutely nothing wrong with waiting 3, 5 or 2 weeks to pick up a new gun. Its ridiculous the squawking the NRA does over guns checks.
No one will ever succeed in taking americans guns, its way past that every being even remotely possible. Liberals need to call it quits on taking guns and concentrate more on assuring the people that do buy them are capable of using them safely and not for nefarious reasons, within reason of course.
