More cops murdered Obama says nothing......................

Really this is how you feel? You feel good about all of these men dead?

when the majority of you start giving a damn about civilians of ALL colors being unjustifiably killed by cops instead of excusing them as mistakes and paying off the families with a city insurance settlement, then you'll have cause to take up with me. until then, sit down and shut up with the faux outrage.

I was actually sitting down when I wrote that...

I care about the victims of police brutality, I just don't understand how anyone can not feel pain or empathy for all of these dead police officers. I do both. I don't find it hard.

That is the way rational people think, irrational people don't have the capacity to feel empathy for both.

They don't matter to Hack Omar.

No- but it's impossible to leave police brutality out of the mix. Democracy is government by consent- and nobody is going to knowingly consent to being brutalized.

In Israel the cops can kill whoever they like- provided it's a Palestinian or a resistance supporter. The resistance, Israelis as it happens, started distributing video cameras and now the world is becoming aware that we've been cheering for the bad guys. It's the same in the US. 'Phone footage is exposing the rot that has been allowed to pervade the police services. That's top-down rot too, just like in Israel. The policies dictate the behavior of those who are empowered to protect the establishment.

Of course, America's ethnic minorities are far better placed to defend themselves- lawfully- than their Palestinian counterparts. For example, the Israeli government has just passed a law that permits the ' security ' forces to gun down protesters with live ammunition. The US government supports the government which is allowing that- so the rot at the top of the US government- which filters down to its blue guardians- is just as bad as the rot at the top of the Israeli system. Should the protests in the US boil to the point wherein the establishment AGAIN turns a ( pre video ) blind eye to police brutality then it will be Jackson State revisited. Obama has the opportunity- as a black president- to openly acknowledge the failings of government which filter down to dictate the behavior of its police. He'd best take it, imo.

There's a pesky little matter of mens rea, criminal intent, in these incidents.

It takes a warped mind to think a police officer can have a spotless record for 15 years or so and then just wake up one morning and decide to shoot someone for no reason.

The Israelis need to gun down the animals with bombs strapped to them. Would you prefer kisses to stop suicide attackers?

You are an idiot. You cannot feel empathy for them unless of course you have a cop or black kid who was killed by a copy. Sympathy? Yes. Empathy? Probably not. Not from your little sheltered community funded by oil money

good, then follow up with the shutting up part.

you found it extremely easy to dismiss the concerns of gun carriers who were harassed and arrested even though they broke no law whatsoever, so you're not believable about this issue at all.

IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE........well, unless you're a cop. accidents and mistakes that cause the deaths of non violent or innocent people...meh. no big deal, right copper?

Indeed, and your ignorance is shining through.

Nothing whatsoever to do with "ignorance of the law," it's about criminal intent to harm someone.

test your theory.....

1) cop ends up shooting and killing innocent civilian, but no intent.....crime? charges?

2) citizen on the street shoots and kills another innocent civilian because he felt threatened, but no intent.....crime? charges?

tell us, does mens rea apply in both cases?
