Here is the bottom line. This almost certainly happens all the time. It is only news because Trump refused to return the ones he had in his possession, and actually hid them, forcing the FBI to raid his home. It's a nothing burger. But it isn't. What say you?

Another special counsel investigation?
May as well have the FBI search all former VP's, presidents, senators, congressmen.
Any docs found, round them all up and have them all shot as traitors at the same time.

I think we're going to find more of this.
Which kinda dilutes Trump's guilt even though he wouldn't return them.

Depends on what was in those 'classified' docs.
If what Trump had was related to the Russia Hoax, he deserved to have them.
If they contained the U.S. response to nuclear war with Russia he should be shot as a traitor.

No it doesn't. Not in the least. Having them is understandable. Hiding them is the crime because it demonstrates clear criminal intent. Neither Pence nor Biden made any attempt to hide the documents, at least it doesn't appear they did. Trump ignored a lawful subpoena. When Biden or Pence does that, get back to me.

Or..... recognize that each case is unique and should be treated as such.

Then he should face prosecution for ignoring a subpoena. That would be contempt of court. Fines and up to 6 months in jail.

doesn't matter in the least, the documents never belonged to him. Just more excuses from you.

Even the NYT and CNN agrees with me. We could be wrong.
It's all just opinions now anyway. They're like assholes - everybody has one.
