Our leadership is failing in this regard.

Find yourself a bit of land with a shed. Get a couple of like minded individuals. Find a product that is being imported from China. Speak to the user and suggest that he buys from you if you can make it better and cheaper. Then do it.

Of course no one would relish the idea of living under a totalitarian regime. However I do not. I live in one of the wealthiest (per capita) and freest places on earth. As I said before I will answer any questions you might have if I can and I assure you that I hold no candle for the more negative aspects of the PRC, BUT I have seen, been and experienced some aspects of the place from which we could all learn. Mao is dead you know, as is McCarthyism. its time to open eyes and minds. Sometimes our enemies are not the black, brown or yellow foreigners our governments would have us hate but members of our own society.
I hope you dont see that as evidence of my having been brainwashed. Indeed brainwashing is less likely to affect someone like me who has quite a wide experience of governments than someone who has lived behind the same metaphorical picket fence for most of his or her life.
