More California insanity

Grok, which state has the greatest economy?

California has the largest economy among U.S. states, with a nominal GDP of approximately $4.1 trillion in 2024, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and International Monetary Fund data. This surpasses Texas, the second-largest at $2.7 trillion, and New York, third at $2.3 trillion. California’s economic dominance stems from its diverse industries, including technology (Silicon Valley), entertainment (Hollywood), and agriculture (Central Valley).usatoday.comvisualcapitalist.com

According to AAA CA gas is the most expensive in the country, but not by as much as in years past, I think as states like WA impose and boost their carbon taxes....I think here in WA that is something like 60 cents a gal and going up.

Are you mentally retarded?

The correct answer is: Yes

It is true that California has a great economy. Do you depute it?

I moved to California in 1970.
I left in 2023.

Don't think for a second that your stupid ass can tell me anything about California.

California once had an amazing economy. Its has been getting worse and worse and worse under the fascist democrats for decades now.

It still is ranked as great economy in the world despite your anecdotal story.

In California the gas tax is 61.5 cents right now and with other regulatory costs like the cap-and-trade carbon program, $1.25 a gallon.

WA fully intends to get to something like that....am I right that carbon permits add currently about 60 cents here?

You asked that retard of an AI? Even the answer it gave is wrong.

California's economy is in decline and shrinking. It's not happening overnight but over several decades. The Left has run the state's economy into a ditch, and it isn't getting out any time soon. So, while California has the largest economy--for now--it doesn't have the "greatest" or "best." It's running on fumes.

Silicon Valley is gone. The silicon part is in Arizona and Texas now.

Hollywood is headed for the exit doors too

Agriculture? California lost nearly 15% of its farms in the last decade.

California's water problems and Leftist interference in that has resulted in over a billion in losses to farm land value and it's going down fast.

That sector of the state's economy is in freefall.

"So, while California has the largest economy--for now--it doesn't have the "greatest" or "best." It's running on fumes."

Here we see your admission. We'll see how it's future fare.

Interesting that you would criticize California. What is the reason?

I never stated California didn't have a large or largest (state) economy, only that it was doing poorly compared to what it might be doing without having Leftist government ruining things.

They haven't pissed away an incredible economy. Think how much greater in wealth California could be if it still had all the industry it used to have before regulating and taxing it out of existence. Just like Detroit and Michigan's auto industry, the Left--Democrats--milked their cash cow to death and now they're trying to figure out why everything's fucked up.
Give it the fuck up, TA. You are making a laughing stock out of yourself. Complaining about how California is doing under Democratic administrations is laughable compared with how states run by Republicans are doing.

California has the highest number of welfare recipients. People are leaving California in such large numbers that Ca is losing seats in the House, California has the largest number of people living on the street.
Jesus H. Christ, you fucking moron, California has a total population of almost 40,000,000 people.

Take a look at the number when shown as a percentage of population.
