Careless speeding drivers are a threat to all of us. I've seen it on my street also, where many drivers barrel through a stop sign without even slowing down. I've seen accidents from this. So far no one has been killed, only injured.

Call the cops or petition for speed bumps.

The cops have been called many times but they don't have enough staff to sit there and wait. That corner used to be a 2-way stop and it was changed to 4-way, in an attempt to stop speeders. Often I hear them barreling down the street and they look from side to side to see if anyone's coming before they run the sign. This is a street with children.

My neighbor does the water hose thing with speeders and I have no problem with it. He's not pulling a gun on them.

And, there was a neighborhood petition for speed bumps but it was turned down. The whole thing sucks.

So if he sprays someone's windshield and the driver crashes and kills someone, because he couldn't see; is it safe to assume you're going to defend the person who sprayed the windshield.

If it stops a speeder before he kills someone I consider that a good thing. These jackwagons deliberately speed because they know cops aren't parked watching for them. They get away with it time after time after time. I'm sick of idiots who refuse to obey the most basic traffic laws. Let them try to escalate, then when the cops are called for that the speeder can try to justify his actions.
