I have no 'need to know' regarding the particulars of the intel world. If I cant trust my elected representatives to keep things in line then we have a problem. Leeking this information puts the spooks in danger needlessly and for nothing more than a photo op. Talking about what they do WILL force them to take another job and that leaves us without an intellegence comunity. Do you know how expensive it is to prepare a spook ? How long it takes to build the community ? Consider the bigger picture.

You ask some pretty stupid questions for someone who actually has a valid point now and then. The are 269 separate reasons why Cheney should hang.

Of course I know we need spys, and of course they are liars, that is their nature, and not what I am complaining about. Legal bribery is the problem here, legitimized corruption and every elected federal is a criminal. Except possibly Ron Paul, and definitely Bernie Sanders. I understand you don't like the guy, but he is the only one standing up and saying the truth.

Ok, good, so we need spys and we need to protect them as they are in varying degrees of risk due to the nature of what they do. Then you can understand the risk spys put themseves to talking about what they do and how they do it. So when polsstart telling the public, and by extention the bad guys, what they do and how they do it, operations are compromised, people are compromised the system stops doing what you agree we need doing aint getting done. So what are the alternatives ? If yiure a congress critter and you hear they are doing something they should not be doing, you can tell them to knock it off or you can run to the cameras and get some face time telling the public what you did. What is the right thing to do taking the entire picture into account ?

So, let me ask you this: in these far off places where we do things to bad guys, aren't the local other bad guys and a lot of the local good guys informed enough through their own grape vines about what Americans are doing to people to enhance their abilities to reveal what the Americans want to know? I seem to remember our going through this sort of thing in south and central America as well. Of course US Americans have told the entire world that we don't do those things, and for the most part the world believed US; well up until we got caught outright doing bad things to human beings. So, how about it? Do you think that just perhaps some local people in these far off places have an opinion on such matters? Or, do they just bow their heads whenever we Americans are around.

Wait for the revolution. That is my plan. We have legalized corruption. Those who benefit will do nothing to stop it other than lose their heads. The tree of Liberty must be refreshed sometimes with the blood of patriots and tyrants. This is one of the times.

With everythng that's going on in the world, the corrupt governing interests in this country are only reminded of how easy they have it here. George III thought the same thing, and then - well . . . you know. Seems to me that it happened again in 1860 and then again in the 1930s.
I dunno; some people wanted Swiss cheese instead of chedar on their omlets . . . It was some sort of argument like that . . .
