The Monterey County District Attorney's Office has released a statement in light of allegations resurfacing against President-elect Donald Trump's pick for defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, over an alleged sexual assault in 2017 at a Monterey Hotel.

The Monterey County District Attorney's Office said that they chose not to pursue charges against Hegseth due to a lack of "proof beyond a reasonable doubt."

No charges were supported by proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

That’s because the case is utter BS. No proof, no case. Innocent until proven guilty. End of story.
