The USDA has no statutory authority to regulate the crops in the first place. It seized the power deciding that all biotech crops were "pests." But you go ahead and spread lies about how the law deregulates firms.

Unfortunately, anti-GMO hysteria is not limited to the left alone. My cousin and his wife are as right-wing as they come, but they blame GMOs for every sort of ailment. They also don't vaccinate their kids, but I digress.

Yes, read the law. It does none of the things that site claimed. Everyone wants to venture off into irrelevant stuff about Monsanto, the quality of our food and/or whether GM foods are safe in general. The first two are completely irrelevant and the last only has a little to do with this bill.

We don't want anything to do with Bovine Growth Hormone either, the US have tried to force the WTO to allow US beef and dairy products into Europe but we don't want them.
