Moderator Raddatz the real winner!

It's amazing how perception works. Romney's performance in the Presidential debate was exactly idential to Bidens, right down to the smirk and his constantly interrupting. Funny how that's cool but when Joe does the same thing as your guy your butt hurts so much you call him a drunk. Yea...funny how perception works, isn't it?

no it wasn't, you are either incredibly biased or incredibly stupid. Romneys debate was nothing like bidens nor was it received that way by the masses.

Oh please. That's because conservatives are pussy crybabies who can dish it out but can't take it. Romney did the same fucking thing! Quit being pussies.

Not even close. I never saw Romney spend the entire time Obama was speaking talking over him, I didn't see Lehrer help out and interrupt when Romney wasn't. Seriously, Romney's arms were not flying around like a marionette as he derisively laughed at the President...

No, the display from Biden was very much different than Romney. Romney showed an example of how to be aggressive without derision and looked controlled and informed, Biden at times looked unhinged, literally almost falling out of his chair in derisive laughter to be followed by bumper sticker talking points.

I disagree...the body language was perfect and got the point across when lyin Ryan was spewing his RW nonfacts and disinformation. We've watched for years how these cretins talk over everyone to bully and keep others from having a chance to rebut and this was perfect for that RW tactic. Perfect. Joe did a great job last night.

The 'drunk' meme comes from some of the most despicable RW cellars like Drudge or Worldnetdaily...complete swamps.

I mostly like Joe, and his actions don't bother me because he doesn't put on an act, he is what he is. What bothers me is how conservatives totally wrote off Joe's excellent points and substantive information and called Ryan the winner, while totally ignoring his lies and obfuscation. No conservative site that I've read so far had anything negative to say about Ryan's shocking lack of transparency about the R&R plans for the nation.

The drunk meme came from Hannity and the bottom feeders at Faux. Here's a link to the video: http://www.politicususa.com/news-launches-smear-campaign-vice-president-joe-biden.html.

Ah, now I know who Damo was parroting! Thanks

She wouldn't have had to interrupt Ryan if he had just given a straight answer to the effin' questions.

"Right-wing media are attacking ABC reporter Martha Raddatz, the moderator of the vice-presidential debate, complaining that she interrupted GOP candidate Paul Ryan significantly more than Vice President Joe Biden. In fact, Raddatz interrupted Biden and Ryan roughly the same number of times.

Following the October 11 debate, right-wing media figures complained that Raddatz cut Ryan off significantly more often than she did Biden. Washington Examiner senior editorial writer Philip Klein tweeted, "Every time Biden starts interrupting Ryan, Martha Raddatz cuts Ryan off." Fox News contributor Laura Ingraham complained that Raddatz interrupted Ryan when he rebutted "Biden's illogical position on abortion and Catholic Church." Town Hall news editor Katie Pavlich wrote, "This debate should be renamed: Joe Biden and the Moderator Interrupt Paul Ryan!"

But Raddatz interrupted Biden and Ryan approximately an equal number of times. According to a Media Matters review of the debate, Raddatz interrupted Biden 15 times and Ryan 18 times:

15 t0 18 is not "approximately equal".....its undeniably un-equal....

Her only real job as moderator was to assure the time was equally allocated between the two sides after introducing the topic and question for both to answer.

Interrupting Ryan was preventing his ability to answer and interrupting Biden was to stop his hogging more and more of the air time he was entitled to....

Interrogating Ryan, while letting Biden get away with anything he wanted to say was another show of bias....

No, it was a show of who was lying more often.

That's how they've framed this "debate" down the line... the speaking time was about the same, but it doesn't count Biden's interruptions and snickering during Ryan's time, or the moderator's interrupting and distracting from his points. Ryan was barely able to finish a sentence uninterrupted by one of the two. The interrupts are about the same in number, but it doesn't account for when they happened and the circumstances. The camera shots were equally distributed, but the straight-on shots of Biden were when he was making a crucial point, and during Ryan's crucial points, we got the shot of Biden in the background laughing it up. Ryan's straight-on shots came when he was rebutting or trying to explain numbers. The whole "debate" appeared to be orchestrated to make Ryan look as bad as they could, while making Biden look half-way intelligent. It was pathetic enough having a flaming liberal as a moderator, but the format and how the "debate" played out, was atrocious and not worthy of the label "debate" because it wasn't one, really. It was a one-sided ambush and interrogation of the conservative. This might be acceptable if Conservatives were allowed to do the same thing, but we all know that's not going to happen.

No, it was a show of who was lying more often.

Biden didn't utter one single "truth" the whole time he was up there... Oh, I take that back, he did ONCE, when Ryan said something about Biden relating to how things you say come across the wrong way, and Biden confirmed he always means what he says. THAT was TRUE!

She was unbiased and did a great job...faux news didn't like the outcome so they're spinning. At least the left had enough class to accept that Obama didn't make a good showing...unlike the whiners and crybabies on the right. Even so, the RW candidates lie...nothing they said was real.

All you had to do was watch it yourself to come to the right conclusions.....most of us don't require others to explain to us what we've seen with our own eyes....

You're parroting DNC talking points isn't gonna work....we KNOW what we saw and heard....
