" Marxist Stage Theory

Stage 1 – Primitive Communism

Men performed the same economic function – hunter gathering. They worked together in order to survive. There was no private property and there were no classes. Eventually the most successful hunter gatherers gained power and control over the others.

Stage 2 – Imperialism

The strong man ruled. He began by owning all the land but when threatened by outsiders, he would grant land to others in return for military services. A new land-owning aristocracy was therefore created.

Stage 3 – Feudalism

Land was owned by the aristocracy who exploited the peasantry who worked it. There was a surplus of food which the aristocracy sold to others – creating a class of merchants and capitalists who wanted to share political power.

Stage 4 – Capitalism

The wealthy merchants and factory owners (bourgeoisie) obtained political power and exploited the workers (proletariat). As the proletariat became politically aware they would rise up and overthrow the bourgeois government.

Stage 5 – Socialism

There would be a dictatorship of the proletariat as workers’ organisations re-distributed food, goods and services fairly according to need, and profits were shared by all. The middle classes would come to understand that equality was superior to private ownership.

Stage 6 – Communism

Everyone would join together for the common good. Money and government would no longer be needed and society would be class-less. As all countries reached this stage the world would become state-less and competition and wars would cease.

so fascism isn't a thing?

"a rising tide raises all ships," they say, forgetting that the labor movement created the middle class coming out of the gilded age.

and no, a minimim wage isn't socialism.

corporations getting to control immigration is fascism.

many modern nations are highly fascist. including ours.

So ... no list, just the evil USA. :palm:

The Dems threatened Twitter, FB, etc/. with removal of section 230 'special rights for favorite corps' if they didn't toe the Socialist State line. So they obeyed the pols and helped rig the election. :dunno:

You mean the National Socialist German Workers Party? ... the German people never self-identified as fascists.

It is interesting that Marx never specifically mentions a Massive Welfare State.

most modern nations are controlled by finance and munitions companies. you can probably list many.

you shouldn't go to marxists for your ideological categories.

Socialist capitalism comes in two forms.

1. Selling goods like oil to dirty foreigners for a Profit (pure evil).

What does selling goods to foreigners have to do with socialism or capitalism? It could be either. No such thing as "socialist capitalism."

What is your reason and logic behind this statement?

From reading about economic trends and developments in China. Most of its economic growth (2/3) come from private firms and they are pressured to provide more of the government's revenue.

We both know the development of socialism and communism has diverged widely from Marxist theory. The Sino-Soviet split was partially about what constitutes "real" socialism and communism. China swings back and forth between more or less state-owned enterprises and market economy.

how do you define fascism? not a thing?

I link several characteristics to fascism. Strong nationalism often related to race, mass movement, far-right authoritarianism/totalitarianism, a dominant leader for just a few.

I tend to agree with the (majority?) of economists who do not think fascism has a defining economic system because of the many variations among among fascism governments (much like communist political systems).

nah that's the new version, the redefinition. fascism is simplify the merger of state and corporate de facto power. it has an internationalist bent these days, because corporations all gaming all side ls of markets. if you want to talk about racism, call it racism.

globalism is actually internationalist fascism. a one world public private partnership. controlled by satan.

Do you see the problem with what you just did?

I bet you don't see it.

You're an idiot.

"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power."

Benito Mussolini (speaking of corporate fascism)

The concept of fascism is dependent on the merger of corporations with the state. The power inherent in government is combined with corporate power, this brings the majority of power in a nation under a small group of individuals. This is known as an Oligarchy. It is this combination of government and corporations that truly defines the concept of fascism.

In America, we look at government taking control of the corporations to identify fascism. What eludes our knowledge is just the opposite. It is possible for the corporations to appropriate the authority of government. It is this type of activity that is unseen by the majority of Americans.
