MIT and Caltech are the two toughest colleges in america and it's good that MIT at least can see that GPA is meaningless today what with all the grade inflation and affirmative action grading in our schools. Truth is we need MORE standardized testing but most schools are dropping it because blacks do so poorly.

After careful consideration, we have decided to reinstate our SAT/ACT requirement for future admissions cycles. Our research shows standardized tests help us better assess the academic preparedness of all applicants, and also help us identify socioeconomically disadvantaged students who lack access to advanced coursework or other enrichment opportunities that would otherwise demonstrate their readiness for MIT. We believe a requirement is more equitable and transparent than a test-optional policy.

Blacks do terrrible on all standardized tests. SAT ACT MCAT LSAT even cop and firemen tests. Most blacks can't even read. These people are mentally disabled and we need to face that.

Lots of police departments have stopped using written tests because blacks can't read. They have to "pass" an interview!!
