I said that noise was bullshit and that Vick would be back.

Nike and Vick have no contract

NEW YORK -- Nike said Thursday it does not have a "contractual relationship" with Michael Vick, a day after the quarterback's agent announced a deal with the manufacturer.

In a statement released Thursday morning, Nike said it has "agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike."

That's all in the article I posted brother. This is just the first step of what obviously is giant steps towards him being fully welcomed back into the NFL.

There is little to no question that sponsorship is in the making.

What is surprising is that it's happening so quickly.

Pardon my exhuberence for Vick .. and you're correct that there is no contract now .. but no one can doubt that it's coming.

As always, I appreciate your thoughts.
 
there's no question jersey sales proved he's more then fully welcomed back.
Philly gave him standing O's on every possession in his preseason opener.
My analysis, all homer like a 3x pro bowl QB in his prime. And many football fans like me think he was way over sentenced due to his fame.

Dude, I go on walks with my sister who has a Berniese (sp) Mountain Dog and see how people react to dogs. I swear some people treat their dogs better than many parents do their kids. You f*ck with dogs and you're going to get the response Vick has gotten.

He still sucks, purely as a QB, though. I am sure the idiots in Philly will be wanting him to replace Donovan, who is a far better QB.

I don't like what Vick did, but pure hypocrisy to slam him and celebrate horse racing.
 
There is absolutely no reason Vick shouldn't get back in the game, he paid his debt to society and if he can make the grade ( I am sure he will ) he ought to be able to play

.. or DOG racing.

I agree that Donavan may be a better quarterback .. even Kolb may be better .. but Vick brings something different to the game and the excitement level raises everytime he touches the ball. Both McNabb and Kolb may have better arms, but Vick brings another dimension to the game.
 
Donavan is the bomb, Kolb has years to go to get where Vick has already been.
No expert is going to expect Vick to be wear he was for at least several more weeks/months.

That's true. By the time playoffs come around, Vick may be a very valuable asset that other teams wish they had.

Did you see the 8 dummies at the game protesting Vick?

They had to keep fans off them.
