Is it really any of a presidental canidate's business if people choose to get married or not?
I know social conservatives belive the government should get into these issues but do most...?
Wow, nice catch, Volt. This is a whole lot of retarded!!

Dood, he was speaking about the culture not about legislation. Can you tell me what proposed "law" he was promoting? Is it really any of a presidental canidate's business if people choose to get married or not?

Huckabee did it poorly and allowed an interviewer to control the message rather than controlling it himself. This personalized the issue and opened this gate. It has nothing to do with me, and everything to do with Huckabee making a fatal mistake in his own campaign. Handing "the liberals" the ammunition isn't a wise campaign strategy.

How open minded of you...
/shrugs....I've given the board liberals years to prove I'm wrong......nothing yet......
Eh; you've been proven wrong countless times, even on this thread. But admitting it is another issue.
I dont want presidental canidates weighing in on what they belive about the morals of the culture....
I never said he was proposing or promoting a law.
Its none of the governments busniess, about the culture, only about the legislation.
If these people get married or not is not the governments business and I dont want presidental canidates weighing in on what they belive about the morals of the culture.... It is illrelevant to the job they are applying for.
Tooo many social conservatives care what there canidates belive about the culture... as if they belive that the governmetn should be involved.
Is it important to you that your canidate comment on the correctness of the morals of our citizens? Or do you belive like I do that its none of there business and they should stick to the governments business?

So, though he said nothing about government intervention your argument is that the government shouldn't intervene? And the reason for your argument is that others care? What others are saying is the dude is pretty much done, largely due to a very bad start.I never said he was proposing or promoting a law.

I don't give a damn what some liberal pinhead says about Huckabee, I don't care if you have some legitimate complaint of his political philosophy. What raises my ire is when a supposed conservative joins the liberal bashfest because they are too ignorant to see what the left is doing! They did it to Palin, and now Huckabee, and they will do it to anyone else who starts to poll close to Obama. You enable them. You jeer right along with them, like you're some kind of idiot liberal. Dumo, if you destroy all the conservative candidates, what are we left with? Maybe John McCain will run again??? FUCKING FOOL!
I'd be hard-pressed to call Medved a "liberal interviewer," but when in Dixieland...
Medved is the only talk radio host that I enjoy listening to. Although I disagree with him on some issues, he is well-educated, articulate, and honest. He is one of few conservative talk radio hosts who refuses to categorize Obama as a socialist, and unlike many other hosts, does not believe Obama is intentionally trying to destroy the United States. Are you certain you're not confusing him with someone else?
I said I'd be hard-pressed to call him a liberal. You said he's a conservative.
So, we agree. What would I be confused about?
