Huckabee seems like a nice guy- His affability appears however to be missing the steely determination that is rooted in a clear political agenda neccesary to win a presidential election-

Here's how I remember it... the LEFT wanted Palin to be embarrassed and made every effort to embarrass the family with this information.

No need for a translation here, I didn't say anything remotely close to what you 'translated' anyway.

Whether it is Huckabee or Palin or even John McCain or Romney, the left is going to do whatever they can to raise issue with trivial bullshit, and attempt to destroy them. Anyone who starts to gain momentum or looks like they maybe could challenge Obama, is picked apart with this inane scrutiny that is NEVER applied to Joe Biden or some of the 'foot-in-the-mouth' liberals. The media reports on it non-stop, creating nationwide chatter.... did you hear what they said? OMG! ...next thing you know, we have libertarian mush-brains like yourself, declaring them DOA... What I am comprehending is that you believe, for some reason, that Huckabee is somehow the only option, and that when I plainly stated what is reality (if you can't control the message because you are constantly saying it poorly then you will lose) you got all butthurt and tried to attack me.

It's stupid. Huckabee is hurting himself and I believe he's damaged himself enough at this stage that he will not win a primary battle.

Do you honestly think Huckabee is going to win the Primary at this stage? Do you believe he can turn it around and begin to control his mouth so that he doesn't give stupid soundbites to the opposition?

huckabee has almost no chance. The economy is going to still be the main issue in 2012 and he is liberal leaning in his economics and says abortion transcends all other political issues. Good luck with that.

This is also true. Romney can use his experience making a nearly identical health care program in Mass. to talk about how states should be the testing grounds for a working solution and that this will be a mess like it was in his state. However, his creating that mess will work against him and he may be out as well.

Newt is running, does he stand a chance? I don't know. At this stage it is early, but hurting yourself in the "experimental" stage of your candidacy will kill you. When you are the only one on the stage you shouldn't be putting your foot in your mouth, it creates a lasting image that has nothing else knocking it off the pundits desks. If this started for him months later it wouldn't be as effecting as it is right now.

I have NEVER stated that Huckabee was the "only option!" The problem is, every conservative who starts to appear to be a threat to Obama's reelection, is tarred and feathered by the left, while libertarians join them by buying into the rhetoric! You continue to be willing enablers, allowing the left to destroy any potential challenger to Obama, because you are just too stupid to understand what they are doing. What did/has Huckabee said that would 'disqualify' him from being the president? That we have 57 states? Hardly! He merely makes the point that our culture shamefully embraces out-of-wedlock child bearing, and that is one of our biggest problems with minority groups and those living in poverty. He raises the issue of Obama's upbringing, how the people who raised him have had tremendous influence in his life, and how they are admitted communists and socialists... so what he got the country wrong? The point he made is still valid! But the point is missed by idiots like you, it's way easier to suck up the liberal koolaid, and believe Huckabee is a bone head! Why? Because the man believes in Jesus, and you DON'T! If Newt were to win the nomination, you don't think the left isn't going to drag up every quote they can scrutinize and raise the same kind of issues with him too? Or Romney? Or anyone else to the right of Karl Marx? The difference, if Newt wins the Primary he still won't be the only person on the stage. Right now Huckabee is making a comedy of errors in soliloquy, and that will kill any candidate's chances.
