You can't expect to drop a bunch of migrants off in a few choice places and expect anyone to be capable of dealing with them. New York and other big cities already have a large homeless population. Why not send the migrants somewhere to work? I don't see them at a desk job in the city.

According to the US Census, the boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Brooklyn have lost 236,000 from 2021-2022. They still have room for twice as many.

Agreed. Just like immigrants crossing the border and the Feds expecting the border states to be capable of dealing with them. This is a national problem and requires a national, read fricking Congress, solution. Except for Trump's stupid wall, our leaders in Congress only talk about the problem and don't do anything about it.

Our nation needs immigration reform but it seems the big money interests like the status quo. Why?
