Shaken, not stirred!
So you have Israel feeling it's oats (since the USA supplies bombs to it's clearing of the Gaza Strip and West Bank of Palestinians) and starting shit in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran.
Now Israel claims they are striking Hamas or Hezbollah bases in those countries and that those countries have a history of advocating for the removal of Jews from the area entirely (with a two-state solution being a distant second option to them). And of course, the USA will hem and haw and diddle in congressional and diplomatic jargon instead of just making Israel mind by saying the bank is closed.
Now I can't speak to why they have this attitude where most of the forementioned countries are concerned, but here's a little teaser as to why anything going after Iran might be okay with America's military/industrial/corporate interests:
