Another typical JPP thread on a statute without the statute. A "victim" only "feels" intimidated under the statute if the feeling is both "reasonable" in the circumstances and "actually causes the victim to feel terrorized". The crime applies not only to gender slandering but other personal traits including race, color, ethnicity, but conservatives with their usual hangups on sex are all worked up over the gender clause. I don't much like the statue either. From the statute:

"Intimidate" means a willful course of conduct involving
repeated or continuing harassment of another individual that would
cause a reasonable individual to feel terrorized, frightened, or
threatened, and that actually causes the victim to feel terrorized,
frightened, or threatened. Intimidate does not include
constitutionally protected activity or conduct that serves a
legitimate purpose.

no it doesn't.....but the bill does say what charges can be filed by anyone who feels harrassed, regardless of intent, regardless of any harm, and regardless of anything other than what the victim "feelz"......since you have never read the bill and do not understand it, why are you trying to explain it.....

Not "regardless of any harm". The harm is "reasonably feeling terrorized", and applies not only to transgenders for whom you have a special sensitivity but equally to a Jew or a Caucasian who unexpectedly finds himself surrounded by blacks who verbally threaten and scare the shit out of him, or anyone else "intimidated" within the definition of the statute, the burden of proof being on the "victim". Someone who brought suit on the ground that a Defendant referred to him as she instead of he would find himself or herself paying court costs.

Just like Stalin did. All are guilty because the law punishes reality.
