The Mueller investigation was begun to investigate Russian tampering with our elections. So far, he has found NOTHING related to the purpose of the investigation. I am not sure you're pretending to be stupid anymore.

The Justice Department on Wednesday named a special counsel, former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III, to take over the investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Russian agents and associates of President Trump.

The move heightened the legal and political stakes for the president and his young administration. It came after days of allegations against Trump raised new questions about whether administration officials could oversee an inquiry that has the president at its center.

“My decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that prosecution is warranted," Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein said in announcing the appointment. "I have made no such determination."

But, he said, a special counsel is necessary in order for the “American people to have full confidence in the outcome” of the investigation.

(b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confined by then-FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:

(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and

(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).

(c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.

(d) Sections 600.4 through 600. l 0 of Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations are applicable to the Special Counsel.

Hey, they could probably dig up an email from someone in that office a couple years ago saying they think Trump is a jerk, and someone else agreeing. That should do it - conspiracy!
 
It appears during his investigation Mueller stumbled into something that indicated evidence of a crime, unrelated to his investigation, would be found in Cohen’s office. Mueller chose not to investigate or prosecute it so he referred it to Federal Prosecutors in Manhattan. A judge agreed that enough evidence indicated evidence of a crime was in Cohen’s office and issued a warrant.
