1. Take over the Democratic Party and return it to the people. They have failed us miserably.

2. Fire all pundits, predictors, pollsters and anyone else in the media who had a narrative they wouldn't let go of and refused to listen to or acknowledge what was really going on. Those same bloviators will now tell us we must "heal the divide" and "come together." They will pull more hooey like that out of their ass in the days to come. Turn them off.

3. Any Democratic member of Congress who didn't wake up this morning ready to fight, resist and obstruct in the way Republicans did against President Obama every day for eight full years must step out of the way and let those of us who know the score lead the way in stopping the meanness and the madness that's about to begin.

4. Everyone must stop saying they are "stunned" and "shocked." What you mean to say is that you were in a bubble and weren't paying attention to your fellow Americans and their despair. YEARS of being neglected by both parties, the anger and the need for revenge against the system only grew. Along came a TV star they liked whose plan was to destroy both parties and tell them all "You're fired!"

Trump's victory is no surprise. He was never a joke. Treating him as one only strengthened him. He is both a creature and a creation of the media and the media will never own that.

5. You must say this sentence to everyone you meet today: "HILLARY CLINTON WON THE POPULAR VOTE!" The MAJORITY of our fellow Americans preferred Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. Period. Fact. If you woke up this morning thinking you live in an effed-up country, you don't. The majority of your fellow Americans wanted Hillary, not Trump. The only reason he's president is because of an arcane, insane, 18th-century idea called the Electoral College. Until we change that, we'll continue to have presidents we didn't elect and didn't want.

You live in a country where a majority of citizens have said they believe there's climate change, they believe women should be paid the same as men, they want a debt-free college education, they don't want us invading countries, they want a raise in the minimum wage and they want a single-payer true universal health care system. None of that has changed. We live in a country where the majority agree with the "liberal" position. We just lack the liberal leadership to make that happen (see: #1 above).

Let's try to get this all done by noon today.

Michael Moore is an Academy Award-winning filmmaker and bestselling author.

I do hope the democrats regroup. We need a viable opposition party in the country to remind us that sometimes we need to put global interests ahead of american ones and that corporations do need special considerations too. A one party dictatorship will be hard as half the population does not feel represented.

The democrats have pretty much lost all places of powers and have been rejected by the people. I hope they can find a message that works in the future as they are necessary to our system.

This is naïve and dumb; the Democrats want to exterminate any party that doesn't goose-step march to their Marxist agenda. They need to be crushed in turn and marginalized for eternity. There will be other political factions that come along and create competition; we just don't need a petty dishonest and corrupt operation like the DNC.

They would crush you if they could.

we cant be a dictatorship though we need the democrats around as an opposing viewpoint at least.

wrong. A majority of the electorate did not vote for her, and they did not vote for trump either. She won a plurality. Of those that voted, a majority did not want her as president. Same with trump.

clinton was rejected by a majority of the electorate, in spite of liberals trying to take the desperate weak victory of claiming she got more votes. She got more votes than trump, but at the end of the day a majority of the electorate wanted neither candidate.

I wouldn't worry too much about that, tsuke.

Exactly....neither could garner the 51% required to actually declare they won the majority of the popular vote. The only "glass ceiling" that was broken this election cycle was the bullshit politically correct ceiling enforced by the liberals. Trump proved that you could speak your mind and call a lying dog a lying dog to their face in this nation. THE PC CRAP just run off the Teflon Don like water off a ducks back....this nation belongs to the working people not the elite DC insiders who use political correctness like a club.

The first PC attack came this morning on CNN when the Black Marxist "Jones"....called this election a WHITE LASH....never willing to admit that the Hildabeast lost because the brothers and the sisters where to lazy to get off their asses and vote yesterday in the Blue Wall States. :)

fairly insightful. much more then the media echo chamber who only talk to themselves. Turn off the pundits is Moore's best idea.

we don't need pundits telling us what is important, and what is not.

Isn't Moore a pundit?

He got the first 2 right and the rest is just divisive bullshit and a cry for obstructionism.....party over country.

Too bad Johnson couldn't get 5%. He was polling above that in most places. I guess people bailed at the end...

not me, I did my part. although I kinda think johnson is a dope, my vote was strategic to get the libertarians to that magic 5% number. oh well.
