If he's smart, he'd take lessons from this one and get them on this now. I'd suggest making it more American, have the troops marching, but have civilian floats intertwined. Some overflights, make it fricking Amazing... end with the best ever fireworks display.

The Mexican Army is obviously drilled extensively for their parade, and take greater pride in it because they are celebrating the independence of their nation, not the 79th birthday of a fat wannabe dictator.

Oh, I'm sure they're on it...It's going to be an amazing combination of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, the Rose Bowl, Mardi Gras, and every epic Neighborhood 4th of July celebration that exists (our here is amazing...as our our fireworks...).
I can't wait...
Truly, though, I did like the Army/Flag Day celebration...but then, I just love a parade...period...;)

I've seen extensive coverage of it to have a good idea.

It's leadership's fault these soldiers weren't drilled, or given motivation to perform at least up to the parade standards of the French, Italian, and Mexican armed forces.

I doubt 18 year old kids can get enthusiastic about performing for a 79 year old's birthday party.

This parade was for Trump's birthday party and for his ego. His minions were tasked to find a cover story to obscure the fact American taxpayers were shelling out $80 million for Trump's birthday party.

250 years is not a widely accepted and noteworthy benchmark. That's why we don't even have a word in English to describe it, the way 100th anniversaries are called 'centennial' and 200th anniversaries are called 'bicentennial'.
