The government doesn't need to confiscate anything, they already have plenary power over it.
You think a rancher in Texas whose land boundary edges into Mexico can tell the government they can not come on his property to stop illegal immigration?
Again, look up the federal governments power over our borders. Stop posting feelz and educate yourself or don't, what do I care, remain ignorant and blissful.....
Again, it has never been even thought of being employed, it raises numerous Constitutional questions, which whether valid or not will be tied up on Courts for a decade or more
"Only about one-third of the land the wall would sit on is owned by the federal government or by Native American tribes. States and private property owners, especially along the Texas-Mexico border, own the rest."
"Trump would have to engineer a monumental settlement with thousands of landowners who control thousands of acres of land along the border. Otherwise, the administration will have to face hundreds, if not thousands, of lengthy eminent domain disputes before anything is built across approximately 2,000 miles of the international border. Beyond the turf wars, the wall is sure to raise considerable litigation over environmental impacts."

Whom do you posit the US Constitution gives the power over the country's border?
Not a question who has power over the borders, obviously the Federal Gov't does, and yes they can use different approaches to confiscate that land, but since there is no precedent of any kind that applies, you'd have to be naive to think that the whole process wouldn't be tied up in Courts for an extended period of time

And it would be futile anyway. There will be a Latino majority long before it got built.
You'd better learn Spanish and Italian- ' cause the political will to shut out migrants will disappear along with fat white Evangelical morons.
Estaré feliz de verlo.

You have some weird racist perceptions about Latinos.
I'd imagine, in areas where border crossings are a problem, the land owners want a wall.

Come to think of it my dear, here is a way to save money. Just build a wall in those spots where border crossings are a problem. Just think how cheaply that can be done!
Common sense has you ... triggered.
Most people don't want strangers on their property.
Most people dont want to stare at a 30 ft wall as opposed to the natural scenery

Most people don't want dangerous smugglers on their property.
At least part of the wall will be see thru.![]()
Your "wall" will never happen!
Sure will. Trump has already completed the prototype phase.
Sorry my dearest, but there will never be a wall, Congress doesnt want it, and neither do the American people. Its just more Trump phony bluster.
