Merrick Garland appoints special prosecutor.

Weiss didn't give Hunter a sweetheart deal. He just didn't proofread his Plea agreement. It was contradictory.

It used language that said, he was still investigating the case, but also used language that limited Hunter's liability on ongoing investigations.

Luckily the Judge caught his oversight!

This kind of thing happens all the time, it ain't no big deal.

I still think there will be a corrected plea agreement offered on the current charges- that doesn't limit Hunter's liability, before this thing goes to trial.

So you are saying he is incompetent

No it was not. very few people get jail time for that. He had the gun for 10 days. He paid his taxes, that is what the IRS wants. You want Hunter to suffer because you are a hating righty.

I really don't give a damn about Hunter, other than the fact he (and daddy) raked in $millions from foreigners for doing nothing but using his father's persuasion.

Now you can say that the plea deal with Hunter Biden is dead. Merrick Garland has appointed a special prosecutor to handle the case. That was the right thing to do.

This is interesting. Not quite as interesting as the prosecutor that gets appointed to prosecute Garland some day,...but still somewhat interesting I guess. :)

Weiss
can't be trusted...he has no integrity...time to start the impeachment proceedings... This is so important to our National interests....

Two years ago it was the right thing to do and if the corrupt FBI had not hidden the laptop story, we would not be in the current mess this country is currently.

Bullshit, they purposely used the language "Hunter is still under investigation" to allow the corrupt FBI to dodge the questions from any congressional committee.

where did section 600.3 come from? Dummy.

From the Ethics in Government Bill passed by Congress and codified into the US Code.

Now it’s time for the ambulance chaser to tell us that black is really, really white.

Dummy.

The one good possible thing here is that Weiss had to renegotiate the plea deal for Hunter but apparently Hunter wouldn't go for it because it probably included jail time so the case is probably going to trial unless they accept whatever the terms were.

Plus Hunter is going to be charged as not registering as a foreign agent plus whatever else the new investigation uncovers.

Weiss might be forced into a situation here where he can't cover for Biden anymore in order to cover his own ass.

I don't see any way that Hunter escapes prison time for these things.

To say this will be bad for Joe's campaign is an understatement. Especially since Joe was a main player in Hunters business dealings. Plus Joe Biden will probably be facing impeachment right around election time, believe me, that is when the house is going to be holding the vote for it.

Trumps trials aren't going to happen before the election so they will be in limbo so that won't be the main story.

Well except for the New York one but nobody cares about that one.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was among Republican leaders to criticize Weiss after his special counsel appointment, asking how Weiss's fairness could be trusted after he negotiated what McCarthy called a "sweetheart" plea deal that a judge would not approve.

Republican House Majority Leader Steve Scalise called him a "sham special counsel."

There is no section 6003 in the Ethics in Government Act.

[TITLE III—REPEALED]
TITLE IV—OFFICE OF GOVERNMENT ETHICS (§§ 401 – 408)
TITLE V—GOVERNMENT-WIDE LIMITATIONS ON OUTSIDE EARNED INCOME AND EMPLOYMENT (§§ 501 – 505)

It seems the only dummy is you at this point.
