Then you haven't read the Book of Mormon.
Yes I have. There is no 13th tribe described anywhere in it.
{ the 10th Mormon article of faith states: “We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent…”}
Nothing to do with any '13th tribe'.
History is people and and events that happened,
The book of Mormon is fictional - and utterly absurd.
Word games won't work. Since you apparently don't know the meaning of 'history', a bit of enlightenment for you:
The word 'history' first entered the English lexicon around the 12th century and stems from the Latin 'historia', meaning a narrative of past events (whether true or fictional is irrelevant). The Lord of the Rings, written by Tolkien is also history. It is a tale of a past people and events, including how men and hobbits became merged and predominant today. It is also a work of fiction.
The Book of Mormon is a piece of scripture in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as 'Mormons', taken from the name of a prophet described in that same book).
Nothing in the Book of Mormon describes a '13th tribe' of Israel.
Star Wars is not history. Not all stories are.
Star Wars is written as history in a Galaxy Far, Far, Away. This work of fiction was written by George Lucas. The original film (now Episode 4) took much of it's narrative from another film, the Dam Busters, a British war movie about the fellow that developed a unique bomb designed to destroy German dams. The movie is also history, somewhat embellished, but tells a true story of the inventor this bomb and the bombing wing that dropped it.
All of these are historical narratives.
Whether YOU believe the Book of Mormon to be True or not is rather irrelevant. It IS scripture used by the LDS Church.
Whether YOU believe the Bible to be True or not is also rather irrelevant. It IS scripture used by Christians everywhere, including the LDS Church.
History does NOT make something automatically True. What YOU believe to be True or False is not the same other people. Your perception of the world is unique to you, and you alone. In other words, what is real to you is not real to someone else. 'Reality' itself is as unique to each person as a fingerprint. There is no 'absolute reality'.
You say the Book of Mormon is False. I say it's True. BOTH statements are based on faith, and faith alone.
You cannot prove it, and neither can I.
