Grisham disputed the former first lady’s claims. Grisham said. “I sent her a text saying do you want to condemn violence. First off, the comment, a flat out lie, itself is so Trumpian, but more so, it just highlights once again that seemingly anyone in Trump’s orbit has no issues with lying regardless of the fact that they know it is a lie. Character and honor just aren’t recognized as anything of value in Trumpkinville.

While I can understand Grisham feeling her not asking "what violence?" points to her being aware, it isn't actual evidence. The "no" could be a short version of "I'm fucking busy right now so stop bothering me with silly texts." Melania is self centered and had a project she was supposed to be doing so it is possibly she was oblivious to what was going on and not interested in why she was being asked the question.

Hard to believe, being in DC that day, especially after the morning pep rally and unfolding events of the day, the tense activity in and surrounding the WH, that she had tunnel vision on the administrative project of the day. “Hard evidence,” as definitive proof, no, one would have to investigate further if that is what one needed, but the actual text messaging, plus common sense, pretty much indicate she is lying here

But the text show she knew something big was occurring, her Secretary doesn’t just suddenly text regarding violence occurring, noteworthy violence on the same afternoon her husband fired up the crowd in a morning pep rally, and of which was recognized and surely she knew was a huge day for Trump.

As I said, definitive proof, no, one would have to investigate further if that is what one needed, but the actual text messaging, and knowledge of the what the day was, coupled with common sense, pretty much indicate she is lying here

I'm fairly sure that the Secret Service was quite active in the WH that day and moving in and out of rooms and securing the First Family. There's no way she had no clue what was going on. Talk about an Ivory Tower POV.
