If you’ve been anywhere near Facebook or Twitter in the past several months, you’re probably aware that there is a case working its way through the courts that accuses Donald Trump of raping a 13-year-old girl in 1994.

On Wednesday, the woman, who remains anonymous, was slated to appear at a press conference with her new attorney, Lisa Bloom, the daughter of Gloria Allred. Bloom wrote a column about the case in The Huffington Post last summer.

A Complete-ish History of Donald Trump's Obsession With His Ideal Woman, His Own Daughter

Earlier today, the Associated Press published a report detailing accusations that, in the course of making The Apprentice, Donald Trump had serially demeaned, belittled, and harassed women involved in the making of the show. The anecdotes were creepy and familiar—rating “female contestants by the size of their breasts” and talking about “which ones he’d like to have sex with”—but some of them had a particularly creepy and particularly familiar theme: that Trump had compared the objects of his leering to his own daughter Ivanka.

There was, for instance, this camerawoman:

Eight former crew members recalled that he repeatedly made lewd comments about a camerawoman he said had a nice rear, comparing her beauty to that of his daughter, Ivanka.

[Camera assistant Rebecca Arndt] said that Trump would publicly discuss the woman’s beauty and how her blue eyes and blonde hair compared to his daughter Ivanka’s looks.

“He would just mention it all the time. I remember him comparing Ivanka to her and saying that only Ivanka was prettier,” she said.
Or when he asked a female contestant to “twirl before him so he could ogle her figure”:

Contestant Poppy Carlig, who performed the twirl, said she considered Trump’s request “playful banter.” She added: “I don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that people are having bad intentions with what they are saying. He said I reminded him of his daughter and I thought that was really touching because I know how much he values his family.”
Regarding the allegations, Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks had this to say: “These outlandish, unsubstantiated, and totally false claims fabricated by publicity hungry, opportunistic, disgruntled former employees, have no merit whatsoever. The Apprentice was one of the most successful prime-time television shows of all time and employed hundreds of people over many years, many of whom support Mr. Trump’s candidacy.”

Still, Donald Trump loves to tell dirty jokes and banter about sex. And when he is telling these dirty jokes or bantering about sex, one of his very favorite subjects is how much he’d like to fuck his elder daughter. For decades, he has been talking about Ivanka’s body, her sex life, and his attraction to her, often with no provocation.

There’s a lot of psychology behind these gross, bizarre comments to unpack. Ivanka is the daughter of Trump’s first wife, Ivana, a glamorous Czech model who made the mistake of marrying a rich man close to her own age. When the couple reached their 40s, their marriage fell apart, amid acrimony and Trump’s adultery, as he began a pattern of trading in his wives for, literally, younger models.

But even as Trump put Ivana behind him, Ivanka—the name means “little Ivana”—was blossoming in front of him. And through some unholy mixture of sexual possessiveness, narcissism, and the will to brand and commodify his own flesh and blood, Trump seemed compelled to make sure everyone noticed.

When he wasn’t talking about Ivanka directly, he was talking about her teen peers. Especially if they happened to look like Ivanka.

Ex-Wife: Donald Trump Made Me Feel ‘Violated’ During Sex

Ivana Trump once accused the real-estate tycoon of ‘rape,’
Donald Trump introduced his presidential campaign to the world with a slur against Mexican immigrants, accusing them of being “rapists” and bringing crime into the country.
“I mean somebody’s doing it!… Who’s doing the raping?” Donald Trump said, when asked to defend his characterization.
It was an unfortunate turn of phrase for Trump—in more ways than one. Not only does the current frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination have a history of controversial remarks about sexual assault, but as it turns out, his ex-wife Ivana Trump once used “rape” to describe an incident between them in 1989. She later said she felt “violated” by the experience.
Michael Cohen, special counsel at The Trump Organization, defended his boss, saying, “You’re talking about the frontrunner for the GOP, presidential candidate, as well as a private individual who never raped anybody. And, of course, understand that by the very definition, you can’t rape your spouse.”
“It is true,” Cohen added. “You cannot rape your spouse. And there’s very clear case law.”
Ivana Trump’s assertion of “rape” came in a deposition—part of the early ’90s divorce case between the Trumps, and revealed in the 1993 book Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump.
The book, by former Texas Monthly and Newsweek reporter Harry Hurt III, described a harrowing scene. After a painful scalp reduction surgery to remove a bald spot, Donald Trump confronted his then-wife, who had previously used the same plastic surgeon.
“Your fucking doctor has ruined me!” Trump cried.
What followed was a “violent assault,” according to Lost Tycoon. Donald held back Ivana’s arms and began to pull out fistfuls of hair from her scalp, as if to mirror the pain he felt from his own operation. He tore off her clothes and unzipped his pants.
“Then he jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified… It is a violent assault,” Hurt writes. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.’”
Following the incident, Ivana ran upstairs, hid behind a locked door, and remained there “crying for the rest of night.” When she returned to the master bedroom in the morning, he was there.
“As she looks in horror at the ripped-out hair scattered all over the bed, he glares at her and asks with menacing casualness: ‘Does it hurt?’” Hurt writes.
Donald Trump has previously denied the allegation. In the book, he denies having had the scalp reduction surgery.
“It’s obviously false,” Donald Trump said of the accusation in 1993, according to Newsday. “It’s incorrect and done by a guy without much talent… He is a guy that is an unattractive guy who is a vindictive and jealous person.”
Cohen acknowledged Monday that he has not read the entire deposition but said he had read the two relevant pages of it, including the rape accusation.
“It’s not the word that you’re trying to make it into,” Cohen told The Daily Beast, saying Ivana Trump was talking about how “she felt raped emotionally… She was not referring to it [as] a criminal matter, and not in its literal sense, though there’s many literal senses to the word.”
Cohen added that there is no such thing, legally, as a man raping his wife. “You cannot rape your spouse,” he said. “There’s very clear case law.”

None of the ladies at the table appear very animated. Gee, do you think it was because they were all paying attention to the speaker or later because the minister was saying grace before the inaugural luncheon??????...buffoon. :palm:
