McCarthy's trumped-up impeachment investigation hits brick wall

The truth...

Typical political corruption costs us maybe a few million.

Incompetence and bad policy can cost us trillions.

I'll go with the slight shady competent guy

over the pure as the driven snow idiot,

knowing all along

that in real life,

the idiots are actually at least as corrupt and usually more.

ITs very funny, the sane Republicans are afraid of this, because it is likely to turn into another Benghazi!!!!! and a lot of Democrats are welcoming it because they want the truth to come out.

If there is wrongdoing on the presidents part, I want to know. If not, I want the voters to know.

I know the Republicans will simply try to blur the issue if there is nothing, but the voters are smart.

you gas lighting shit stains lie and lie and lie

the White House released a panic attempt to coerce the media to treat this like the Laptop story.

The GOP's failure to provide much more than innuendo that Biden corruptly used his power while vice president to profit from his son Hunter’s business ventures has resulted in humiliating back-peddling for Kevin McCarthy, when McCarthy couldn't get the votes to open an investigation.

WOW. Many Republicans in the Senate seem to know that McCarthy's Impeachment talk is pointless and without evidence:

- GOP Senator Ken Buck stated that he “hasn't seen any evidence linking Joe Biden to Hunter Biden's activities”

- GOP Senator Shelley Moore Capito stated that she "does not" see enough evidence to impeach Biden.

- GOP Senator Marco Rubio stated that attempts to impeach a sitting President like Biden “should generally be avoided for the interest of the country.”

- GOP Senator John Cornyn stated that House Republicans could investigate the Bidens without launching a formal impeachment inquiry. He then stated that “Rather than doing something they know is unlikely to end the way they would like, maybe they want to emphasize other things.”

There are indications that Senators might refuse to even bring an impeachment to trial.
