McCain says he could support 16-month Iraq timetable

You know, I think that during the days that I was gone, you got used to happy-assing around here, posting whatever crapola you pulled out of your butt that day.

Well, the party’s over, so suck it up. Don’t expect me to apologize for interrupting your conversation with the “European guy”, no matter how much you whine about it.

Thank you board boss but you still haven't stated one thing wrong with my question. Which means you are just spouting b.s.

So, do you agree that he's completely flipped flopped or not?

from your article....

"Speaking from Bakersfield, California, the Arizona senator said he would not stick to a "hard and firm date" suggested by Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

"Now whether that fits into 16 months or not, or one month, or whatever, the point is it's got to be conditions-based," he added, saying that's the point Gen. David Petraeus, the U.S. commander in Iraq, "is trying to get over as we go into this political season."

So how do you reconcile the fact that he said that he "could support a 16 month timetable"? Sounds to me like he's speaking out both sides of his mouth and his a$s.

Ah ah ah. That is Board Queen, mister.

And I did state what was wrong with your question, on that thread. Stop trying to divert Tiana’s thread. I am now convinced that SF is paying you.

Yeah, this is probably the most direct he has been on supporting this. He has been hinting at it ever since Malikis comments.

Good thing the surge strategy worked... otherwise the situation would likely be the same or worse than it was in 2007 and the discussion about when to leave would still be absurd.

Too bad Obama was "rooting for the failure of the surge".

"Rooting for the failure of the surge" - where does that quote come from?

If you remember what the goal of the surge was, to bring home the troops in 18 months... then it was an Utter Failure.

The result was an increase in the number of troops in Iraq indefentently!

I did not hear the interview, so I do not know what was said. Thus, unless I see the transcript, I would have a hard time answering that.

Do you have a link to back that up?

Let me help you: The emperor has no clothes.

- As Darla pointed out, McSame has proven to either have little to no expertise in foreign policy or is senile.

- Obama's ability to reach out and repair international relations is above and beyond anything the Bush cheerleader could do

But Obama doesn't support a "hard and firm date." So basically, McCain supports the Obama plan.

Oh well... since YOU say so, I shall immediately change my vote to 'the One'.

Well, you give me all the sarcasm you want, but the world would be a lot better off if your kind did not vote. And by your kind, I mean retarded bush apologist conservatives.

Yes, because he is morphing his plan to what McCains was .... that the timing HAS to be based on conditions on the ground. That it cannot be some arbitrary "16 months". That it HAS to be flexible in case conditions on the ground change. Which has been McCains position all along.

LMAO... right out of the playbook... is it page 22 or 27?? I forget. When in doubt, pretend I am a "Bush apologist". LMAO... you are seriously funny sometimes. This isn't one of them. Please...demonstrate where I have apologized for Bush.

I think she got it from the Cypress playbook (though Cypress was surely not alone in using it).

LMAO... do the search.... see what you come up with. Wanna bet you see a bunch of posts saying something to the effect of... while I thought the war was inevitable... it was poor timing to go in when we did coupled with a discussion on how poorly it was executed.... and likely followed with something on how there was no exit strategy.
