McAfee, the guy who developed anti-hacking software debunks Russia claims

I thought the topic was McAfee's credibility. Why else use use him as a source for your talking points?

Wrong again; it was his debunking of the idiotic leftist screed that the Russians "hacked" our elections snowflake. Do try to keep up; I know you are slow and a low information partisan hack.

Suddenly this guy is a hero to the GOP:

John McAfee, an entrepreneur once associated with antivirus software and now associated with drugs and tropical murder accusations, is back in the news for illicit reasons. Police in his new home of Tennessee just busted McAfee for DUI and gun possession.

That explains it. He was high as a kite when he wrote that article.

Avoiding viruses is so easy.

1. Browse smart. Don't go to porn sites, pirated movie sites, public torrent trackers, open suspicious emails etc
2. Add-ons. If you're using a decent browser you can find add-ons for it like an ad blocker, or something like NoScript for Firefox that prevents all JavaScript from running automatically on a page.
3. Should you find yourself with a virus after these precautions, these days it's fairly easy to restore your PC while still keeping all your data.

I've run no antivirus for like 10 years now, only had to restore my computer once and that was because I took a risk trying to find a cracked version of Photoshop. These antivirus programs all too often are resource hogs that just love to remind you that they're out of date and need to be paid for.
ya but my job means I can't use pop up blockers , and I'm required to have anti-virus/malware.

Norton/McAffe are resource hogs, but the newer ones are not, and new cpu's have memory in the tetrabytes.

Kaspersky saves me a lot of trouble, and I'm required to have it anyways.
