MBA's are BS

um last I checked MBA's (Masters in Business Administration) are degrees for training to go into management. That management does not have to be investment management. In fact most youngsters wanting to pursue investment management are encouraged to get CFA's. MBA's are more for general management.

It's not the job of private companies to ensure the consumption ability of the middle class, it's to increase shareholders wealth. Why would anybody want to own a business.

But forward thinking companies factor it in, in the overall business plan.

managers of any company ARE agents of the shareholders... who the hell do you think they work for?
They work for the Board of Directors who is nominally elected by shareholders, but in reality generally get in by default as almost 80% of shareholders who aren't majority do not vote and when they do they fill in the proxy to vote as the Board does.

BTW - Welcome to the JPPolitics Messageboard. How did you find our little corner of the technoverse?...
