I am not ready to vote and have not made the decision who I would vote for in the Democratic Primary, in fact I am likely to switch and vote for William Weld in the Republican primary. However so far what I see in Mayor Pete is intelligence and an ability to clearly communicate his basic ideology. He is such a clear contrast to Rump that I really would enjoy seeing them run against each other. Rump's greatest nightmare is a young energetic candidate who could jog up to a reporter and give a comment about how physical health is so important to maintaining mental health, and how important mental health is to the office of the Presidency.

He has said he is not a Democratic Socialist but instead a Democratic Capitalist, which I believe would make him more likely to get crossover votes from economic conservatives who dislike Rump.

I think the Democratic candidate should not define him/herself very clearly because this campaign is easiest to win if it is a referendum on Rump.

Republicans voted for a Trust Fund Baby who has experience as a game show host, and are complaining that one of our candidates only has experience as a Rhodes Scholar, Afghanistan War Vet, and Midwestern Mayor.
