You would be wrong about that. I vote people, not party. There just aren’t many great local Republicans in Texas.

Sure. You always attack the GOP with a broad brush but secretly support one in theory. I didn't vote for a single republican or democrat in 2018. I didn't have a lot of choices but went to vote on a ballot initiative related to property tax exemptions for surviving spouses of dead veterans. That was the only thing I cast a vote on in November. That our republican nominee was a veteran didn't entitle him to any special consideration. Neither candidate had much to offer my area, so screw em.

In the meantime, somewhere between 2 and 3 million people served in Iraq and Afghanistan (depends on where you draw the lines as to the wars). 45% were reservists which can run the age well above the 18-22 year old gauntlet. Reservist accounted for about 20% (a little under) of the KIA's. The Boomers are going off into the sunset and you have a couple generations who have a healthy combat veteran pool behind them. This has nothing to do with the Blue Wave. It is about time continuing to tick tock. Many are and will be one party or the other.

So Putin was so out to get this noob liberal candidate with Veteran Entitlement Syndrome running in an obscure Congressional District against an 8-term republican incumbent that he enlisted the help of Jill Stein whose party has never won a seat to stop her and they collectively cheated the DNC out the seat? Well, I guess you will just have to keep on struggling with your condition now that your party is shut out of the great Austin lithium mine for two more years denying you the chance to get some free meds.
