Only naive dunces believe that regulations can eliminate accidents like this. By the way, did you read all the violations the EPA put out regarding this event and all the regulatory agencies notified? Based on what was contained there, we might as well shut down ALL manufacturing in this nation and outsource it.

If a facility even emits an odor considered offensive to the public they can be shut down.

Here's another question for dullards like you; who do you think pays for all these regulations companies must comply with, the resulting cleanup and regulations and regulatory oversight? Do you believe the companies pay for it? That the Government pays for it?

There's a reason so many jobs have disappeared over the decades. But the real irony is that our own Government, the one Leftist dunces clamor for more of, is the largest polluter in the nation.
