The first one almost directly quotes the first of the Pairs in the Dhammapada. But I really am not judging that. I just think that quotes out of context do not lead to the truth of the matter.

I am not saying that he is a Democrat, I am merely pointing out that many of his ideals did not fit in with the current thinking of many in the Republcian party.

One can ascribe to ideas and pholosophies of a Buddhist while not being a Buddist...
