I would say that "billions" claim is a load of shit but yes, the Federal government (every president not just Biden) has always been spending a small fortune to move non-citizens (legal or otherwise) around the country. What is your point? Are you bitching about them doing that while claiming it's perfectly acceptable for DeSantis to do it on Florida's dime? I won't argue with that. I would venture to say taxpayers in FL might not like it and I don't think the federal govt lies to them promising jobs and housing then drops them off some place they have never fucking heard of without even notice to the place they are dropping off at.

There is a procedure and a place to apply for asylum. They should be arrested the moment they cross our border illegally.

So these Venezuelan asylum seekers can't seek asylum in Martha's Vineyard? It's not like DeSantis sent them back to Venezuela. Why must Texas foot the responsibility of keeping these people.
