Many republicans plan to just pay the fine

yeah cause everyone know its the wealthy who don't have healthcare

Again with your idiocy? You going to once again ignore the FACT that people in this country are not divided into just two categories of 'poor' and 'wealthy'?

Or are you just going to continue lying?

Three groups comprised the bulk of the uninsured in 2010, including foreign-born residents who are not U.S. citizens, young adults ages 19 to 25 and low-income families with an annual household income of less than $25,000.

yeah wealthy people

NO ONE SAID IT WAS WEALTHY PEOPLE YOU FUCKING LIAR.

NO ONE.

YOU MADE A CLAIM AND HAVE YET TO BACK IT UP WITH ANY EVIDENCE. WHY IS THAT DESH? LYING AGAIN?

they are poor and will pay out of pocket

that means they often wont be able to afford the DR

This is your post Desh. The one where you claimed they are poor and couldn't afford healthcare if they refuse to use Obama care.

you have yet to back up this claim... why is that Desh?

If you get sick then you pay for the insurance. If my employer was not covering me I might pay the penalty. Eventually, they will raise the penalty to force the healthy into the system. It will be interesting to find out if it the court would then revisit Roberts' ridiculous ruling.

how can you pretend that means they will get equal healthcare to people who DO PAY for a healthcare plan
Are you saying I can't get my lady parts checked out even if I pay the $95 "fine"(actually I'm more comfortable calling it a "TAX")?

evince is so ignorant she conflates health care with health insurance.

Just because someone doesn't have insurance doesn't mean they can't visit the doctor and pay for their visit. They run the risk of catastrophic illness if they can't afford treatment, but since insurance companies can no longer deny coverage of pre-existing conditions, it is possible for some people to rationalize their decision. The fine is not quite excessive enough to ensure compliance.

Evince, why don't you worry about your own finances and mind your own business. If people pay the fines the money should find its way to funding the people who are subsidized by the government. What the hell more do you want?

STFU and pay your insurance if you decide to pay it. Some people might decide they don't want to be overcharged.

No, we'll just skip out on the bills some more, raising the cost of care and therefore insurance, and make you Boomers spend yourselves to an early grave. Which makes more sense? $200 a month or $50 a year? I wonder what we Millennials will choose.

don't think i have ever seen someone get 10 thanks. cawacko cleaned up.

She rants and raves all day how she can't wait for the Republicans and their failed ideas to die off then she starts a thread bitching that not enough Republicans get health insurance and complains they might die?

Her psychiatrist must see her as a life long cash cow.

So assuming you are correct- then you are pointing out that Republicans are smarter than Democrats. Republicans know they can be seen and get treatment "if" they need to, and pay a small fine. They can keep their own money- put it in a health savings account if needed. But I think we can also assume if they are "poor" that they won't have to buy anything as it will be Free. Mostly however I just want to point out that you are making assertions that have no point.

In other words, you right wing nuts would rather pay out of pocket for healthcare because you don't like a black man in the White House, even though his plan was your plan in the 1990's. I'll laugh at you on your way to bankruptcy when that WalMart truck hits you and you need a couple of weeks in the hospital.

Have you ever shot carps? That seven is coming. It's just a matter of time.

Please Republicans, don't get healthcare insurance the world will be a better place.

I was thinking the same thing. Some young healthy person who was in diapers when Heritage came up with the individual mandate in the early '90's is probably thinking to themselves 'I supported the individual mandate when I was two years old but since a brother is President I don't support it now so I won't get health insurance to prove my point to that black man.'
