Why am I not surprised that the article linked gives no information about teh survey itself?

Why am I not surprised that you seem unwilling to conduct a simple Google search to find out about the survey yourself?

Why are you so unwilling as to provide it? You wish to assert a point and convince someone, therefore the labor remains on your shoulders.

Any time someone quotes a survey, I look to see the details of the survey. Gathering statistical evidence from surveys is notoriously easy to slant in a given direction. Something as simple as choosing to do the survey in a handful of major metro areas would do the trick.

Especially if those metro areas would be as notoriously anti-rights as Chicago or NYC or D.C.

Apparently the study is not viewable online, nor are the parameters evident. However one vital statistical flaw is that it lists there are fewer gun owning households, not fewer gun owners. Therefore the title of this thread is not compatible with the data provided.

Nobody's paying attention to your cyber-baby, Ms. Damn Stankee. 2nd time posted....LOL

I paid attention. I also went to the link and found a link to the source of the numbers quoted. Funny how that works, isn't it?

I'm sure you do, especially when the results support opinions you already espouse.

No, I look for the sources of data regardless of whether I agree or not. Yurt's link had a link to the source of the data. You link had no info whatsoever.

Perhaps you have also seen that quote so often tossed out by anti-gunners? "A gun in the home is more likely to kill a member of the household than a criminal"?

Nice of you. Now Trolltard won't feel so neglected. Did you look to see the details of the survey, as you always do?

Always? Did I say "always"?

But the answer to your question is yes I did look for the sources of the data in his linked article.

Pick many nits?

The title is not mine, but is an abbreviation of the article linked in the OP.

NRA Fairy Tale Exposed: Many Fewer U.S. Gun Owners

If you'd read the piece before reflexively jumping to the defense of...something, you'd have known that already.

Were you too busy drilling yourself to defend the nation against all enemies, or just in too much of a hurry to claim a "gotcha"?

Do you have anything to support your earlier assertions? Or any assertions?

Another link to the same study with the same statistical flaws. And written by the head of an anti-freedom group, that has been listed as a hate group, no less.
