Manchester

I don't even know why the fuck Taffy bothers living in the Western World. He adheres to an ideology that died in 1991, but, not before killing tens of millions throughout the world. Now, he has nothing positive to say about the West, or its allies in the fight, or its culture, or its liberal initiatives, or anything worthwhile, generally. He ought to be holed-up in a cave in Palestine, somewhere...

Who is my enemy, other than the likes of you? Would you describe the vast killing by the USA as 'Christian terrorism'? You just hate everyone, child. Grow up!
lol..the US/west is in a GWOT.
(Global war on terror). While there are collateral damages to the US fighting wars (Kunduz hospital is a good ex.)
they are done while at war.

One can question the wars, but one cannot equate that to deliberative targeting of young girls at a concert hall -
a pure attack designed to instill terror in a civilian population

ISIS Claims Responsibility for Manchester Concert Attack; Toll Rises to 22

MANCHESTER, England — The Islamic State claimed responsibility on Tuesday for the bombing at Manchester Arena, the deadliest terrorist assault in Britain since 2005, as the death toll rose to 22.

The bomb tore through an entrance hall of the 21,000-seat Manchester Arena at about 10:30 p.m. on Monday as a concert by the American pop star Ariana Grande was ending and as crowds of teenagers had begun to leave, many for an adjacent train station.

Pandemonium ensued, as panicked adolescents struggled to connect with parents and guardians waiting outside to pick them up. As well as those killed, dozens of other people were wounded in the attack; 59 were hospitalized, some with life-threatening injuries.

The police said that they were canvassing leads and poring over surveillance footage to determine if the assailant — who died in the assault — had acted with any accomplices. Shortly before noon on Tuesday, the police announced that they had arrested a 23-year-old man southwest of the city center “with regards to last night’s incident,” but they did not provide additional details.

My sincerest condolences to the families and friends and citizens of Great Britain for your horrific loss.

lol. Thanks for proving my previous statement. It's always easier to claim your debate opponent ignorant then argue against the fact that he just presented to you that doesn't fit your narrative.

I don't mean to be patronizing, but that excerpt from the Koran has been analyzed extensively, and has been taken out of context extensively. CLEARLY, it is not what hundreds of millions of Muslims believe or adhere to.

The Bible has incredibly violent sections to it; someone could as easily take phrases out of context from that book to try to marginalize an entire religion.

People need to start thinking proactively on this, and look at what is actually going to solve the problem. It's not declaring that all of Islam is our enemy - which is really exactly what extremists want us to do. They want us to marginalize peaceful Muslims, and have a clear war between Islam and the world. We're playing into their hands by doing that.

Believe it or not, I don't entirely disagree w/ some of Trump's rhetoric from the other day on this (not his campaign rhetoric, but the speech he gave). We all have to identify the true extremists, and work together to eliminate not only those individuals but the causes and reasons for their movement.

Let's say, for example, the Westboro Baptist Church recruited 50,000 wack "Christians" to their cause. Armed to the teeth, they start slaughtering everyone in their sights. Taking over huge swaths of territory, even entire states. All in the name of their distorted religious views.

You wouldn't have to be a genius to realize they must be stopped.

Of course. Who is suggesting otherwise?

There is never a good day to die but nobody seems to have noticed that Roger Moore just passed away.

Islam can't actually win a war against the West, so, the joke's on them...

Violent passages in the Bible are in the Old Testament, and depict history, not an edict for all adherents to follow forever. For you to pretend that there is moral equivalency here is part of the problem.

For starters, many Christians adhere to the OT. But regardless, you're taking that phrase from the Koran out of context, just as someone who wanted to make a "case" against Christianity could do w/ the OT.

That line you reference was a specific situation in their history, and referenced a group that had declared a war against followers. I don't proclaim to be an expert on Islam, but neither are you - and context is everything w/ any text like that. It's unfortunate that it gets posted to some websites and repeated as though it's a tenet that all Muslims follow in all situations.

Again - clearly, they do not. Use some logic.

I like Rump calling them losers instead of Radical Islamic Terrorists.
Yes, but isn't it hilarious that at one time he was sure the phrase Radical Islamic Terrorist would end the carnage and bring about their defeat. He changed his mind after the Saudis gave him his medal and let him sword dance with them. They acted like they liked him, Trump has a deep need to be liked.

Christians adhere to Christ. Sheesh. No one can take Christ's teachings and slaughter children. Muslims can point to quran verses to legitimize their slaughter.

They like those alpha males, which is why they mocked Obeta.

Some Christians do a LOT of things that were never spoken by Christ - particularly from the OT. Perhaps not slaughter - though certainly there was that in history - but discrimination, persecution, intolerance, et al.

Peaceful Muslims - who outnumber the extremists by #'s that are too ridiculous to even calculate - would say that the extremists are perverting that tenet for their own agenda, because in context, it's just an historical reference. And many Muslims worldwide condemn these kinds of attacks.

Exactly. When Christians sin, they are not following their God's Word.

When muslims slaughter, they can point to verses in their holy book that command them to do just that.
