No, the logic fails with the hypocrisy of "right wing folks" who yammer and spew their hatred of the "danged ol'gub'mint" while collecting "redneck welfare" in the form of unemployment and disability for some real or exaggerated or wholly fabricated "injury".

I am personally familiar with more than one solid conservative, Republican voting type who have done exactly that.

Because you personally know two or more folks who vote GOP and what you believe is "against their own interests" and live at the the largess of Democrat Big GovCo programs is irrelevant to the accusations and assumptions that you have made against your fellow posters.

The lesson should've been that if you couldn't get an entry level job somewhere, it's likely because you weren't trying very hard or hard enough.

If you want me or anyone else here to believe that there were such a large number of children from low income families taking these subsidized jobs that there were no entry level jobs left for anyone else, then you mistakenly think we are very gullible or stupid.

That just doesn't even pass the laugh test.

Right wingers will do or say anything to demonize the poor.

Wrong lesson, since I did get a job. Also, my question was of a political nature: Do you see the two political lessons that I learned from those experiences?

As I said earlier, my high school job paid cash, and considerably more per hour than what I would have made had I gotten a job where I received W-2 forms.

Knowing this, care to try and answer the question again?
