But to answer your question, no and I never have. I think Rittenhouse was an idiot to go to a riot and then wade into the middle of it with a rifle in hand. That two morons subsequently attacked him was equally stupid and Rittenhouse ended up in a situation he should have never been in to begin with. Since he's just 17, his carrying a firearm at all was and is illegal (in all 50 states) and that's just the start of his stupidity.
On the other hand, we have the Portland shooter's own words that he was looking for targets to murder, unlike Rittenhouse, so by degree the Portland shooter's crime is more henious.

As for Kyle, I think he's being overcharged, but he killed two men and that fact must be thoroughly investigated and assessed.

Overcharged? He showed up after a curfew was imposed with a long rifle, and went looking for an altercation. He began by shooting an unarmed man four times, and then when others chased him down to disarm him, he shot and killed another person. I'm not sure how you can call that anything but felony murder. The real question is why the police allowed it to happen. And why do you assume there was no 'fracas' in Portland?
