Man gets life in prison after 10th DUI conviction

I seriously can't understand people like Text, who like to drive themselves into a frenzy constantly reading crime stories and posting it to political messageboards screaming bloody murder. Get a damn life.

How does he get vehicles to drive? Alaska confiscates your vehicle on the third offense, and each subsequent offense. It's crazy.

That never stops a DUI. They just drive their spouse's car. You gotta put these psychopaths in the can. Or maybe give cops the authority to shoot DUIs on the spot. I'm cool with that.

Whether or not the guy deserves life in prison, the state enabled him to get to this point, by letting him get behind the wheel of a car. Why wasn't his license suspended indefinitely after the third or fourth offenses?

It probably was.
While free on bond in that DWI case, Eberhardt cut off an electronic ankle monitor and fled to Colorado, where he was again arrested for drunken driving, prosecutors said.

I don't think you get your license back if they make you wear one of those.
Even in Texas.

Did he have a license? I got the impression he was driving without one

And that's where you made your mistake, Bucky; because everyone knows that thinking isn't one of your strong suits. :D

Meryl Streep is a dead ringer for you Ma'am.
