jan 6 2019 Jazmine Barnes was shot dead while in her family's car near Houston last month.

Eric Black Jr, 20, has admitted involvement in the shooting and been charged with murder, Harris County Sheriff's Office said in a statement .

Investigators believe the attack on Jazmine's family could have been the result of mistaken identity.

Jazmine's mother, LaPorsha Washington, was also shot and injured. Three other children were in the car at the time.

A composite sketch of the suspect released last week showed a white male believed to be in his 30s or 40s. Eric Black is black, but police say other suspects could be involved.

Several eye witnesses all said a red truck raced away from the scene and gave a description of a white man. That was the information everyone had at the time until further investigation proved something else all together. That is the very nature of an investigation. To get to the truth.

Very surprised to see that GMA made this arrest their lead story today jan 6. They even showed clips from a week ago where the black woman said the shooter was white.!!!

They reported that the description and comosite drawing was of a SUSPECT not a KNOWN PERPETRATOR, you fool.

They are under no obligation to verify if witness descriptions are 100% accurate.

Those of us who aren't knee-jerk reactionaries and black-hating racists like you, understand that without having to have it explained to them.
