Feb 21 (Reuters) - A daughter of Malcolm X, the civil rights activist assassinated 58 years ago to the day on Tuesday, has filed notices that she intends to sue the FBI, the CIA, New York City police and others for his death.

Ilyasah Shabazz accused various federal and New York government agencies of fraudulently concealing evidence that they "conspired to and executed their plan to assassinate Malcolm X."

If there's actual evidence, she should sue.

If the woman is pulling it all out of her ass, she'll do a lot more harm than good.

I don't think many of us have much solid information as to which situation applies.

The police and judges did jail 2 people they claimed were the killers. They were exonerated after decades and they were paid 36 million for their decades in jail and the fabrication of evidence at the trial.

Is she doing this because she thinks she'll get documents from them? I'm not quite sure what she thinks she will be able to do to prove this, even as a preponderance of evidence. I'm not sure she gets discovery at that level from a lawsuit, the evidence must already be there. What about it lawyers of the site, would she be able to demand discovery?

She sees an opportunity and is hoping to get some cash, too.

"When Malcolm X was shot on February 21, 1965, in the Audubon Ballroom in Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City, Hagan was shot in the leg by one of Malcolm X's bodyguards while attempting to flee from the building. Hampered by his bullet wound, Hagan was grabbed by several members of the crowd who witnessed the shooting and physically beat him before police officers arrived and arrested Hagan at the scene. He later confessed to the crime but said that Thomas Johnson (Khalil Islam) and Norman 3X Butler (Muhammad Abdul Aziz), two suspects arrested at a later point in time, were not involved in the assassination."

They want the information.

No, who killed Malcolm X.
