I knew Trump's ego would be too big to do the sensible thing on this.

This is probably a 2-day story if he just fires the speechwriter and admits to the copy. But no - we're really seeing the best of him right now. Just a full-blown narcissist, who can't give an inch, even if it means losing the most important week of his political career.

How does it get better than this?

Melania delivers a speech heavily plagiarizing Michelle Obama.
The RNC calls for the speechwriter to be fired.

Well, I can't speak for libs, but I'm certainly pleased. I wasn't sure if this week would go off the rails for the GOP or not. It's only Tuesday, and it's already obvious where this thing is headed.

This is what happens when a Presidential candidate has more than one wife. I imagine this is why they discouraged it in the past.
