Labor is a department of mathematicians and statisticians who collect data and report it. They are not political. With Trump in power, they will be. They will give out glowing reports or they will lose their jobs. I am sure he is considering ending the bureau.

It is going to be a rough couple of years when it comes to retirement. If you have a job, my suggestion would be to keep it. Retiring now might mean you cannot get a job if you need it in the future. If you lose your job, and cannot find a new job, then you can retire.
