But what happens in the current system if say one of your sons contracts MS or ALS? You can't cover them on your insurance. There to old. Even if they have insurance they cap out at $1 million. For a chronic wasting diseases like MS or ALS you'd easily go past 2 or 3 million in care, that's your out of pocket money to take care of one of your own. Can you afford to take that hit?

There's no reason in this nation that anyone should go broke because they or a loved one got sick or hurt.

In this instance I think the turbolibs had the right of it. I think a public option was very much needed in this legislation.
