the bigger question should be is the federal government ready to try to imprison people for non compliance? are they ready to kill people who resist?

I understand that being from England, your vision and idea of freedom is alot different than ours. Most of us here dont believe that the government is our master, whereas you in England......

Nope. Health care decisions will be taken away from doctors and will be made by councils (death panels) who determine which treatments are 'worth it' for which patients.

This is the politicization of life and death.

You would think America invented freedom. Remember that your concepts of personal freedom came from Britain.

And setting up UHC isn't a threat to your freedom! In fact it gives many US citizens the chance to enjoy freedom from the tyrannical oppression of the insurance company death panels and allows them to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And people want to go to the guns over it?????

Errmmm, what happens in insurance companies now? We don't have death panels (an invention of the US Right propaganda). In fact the only death panels I know of come from American Insurance companies who refuse to insure or pay out!

You can always choose to pay out of pocket if your insurance won't cover it.

With a government system and death panels, No means no. They just let you die.

And im sure you do have death panels.
