Major strike hits Putin's £3billion bridge linking Russia to Crimea:

Yesterday Scott Ritter said that Ukraine could take out the whole thing for good and it would not effect this special military operation other than making things more difficult for Russa, it would not impact the outcome at all.....this is more symbolic. The Ukrainians are doing whatever they can to get this escalated because they are withering....without more NATO support they lose for sure.....they need more and better arms and more meat for the meat grinder.

Well, it's really that last one doing them in, along with not being any more competent than their Russian opponents. That last is obvious from their inability to do more than turn this into a stalemate. So, better gear, better tanks, or whatever isn't buying them much. They need better men and training methods that will produce more competent troops.

I remember decades ago while in boot camp, that there were Iranian (pre Ayatollah when the Shah was in power) sailors training on base too. I, we, was / were told they were there for a two-year program to train them to do what we were expected to learn in eight short weeks. That difference shows today in how much less competent the Iranians have proven in wars with Iraq, and operations in the Gulf.

This is not remotely a stalemate....that is Western propaganda.

It is for now. It will become a Russian success / victory when Ukraine runs out of manpower, and that is happening.

And the hope is that at collapse of the Ukrainian military, when the troops loose the will to fight, is when they will finish the job of taking the rest of the Russian speaking areas at little to no cost. However from the jump demilitarizing Ukraine, deNAZIfying Ukraine, getting a deal with the West that what is left of Ukraine will be neutral and driving the West to ruin have always been higher priority than taking land.....and they most certainly have no interest in occupying Kiev or western Ukraine....the claim that they want that and have failed to do that is Western propaganda aimed at the ignorant.
