And, if it came right down to it, the US has an actual military whereas Canada doesn't...Indeed.
America has far more leverage than Canada.
As with the UK and the Germans....who none the less keep running their yaps. And, if it came right down to it, the US has an actual military whereas Canada doesn't...
And, if it came right down to it, the US has an actual military whereas Canada doesn't...
Canada is a member of NATO.And, if it came right down to it, the US has an actual military whereas Canada doesn't...
Trump is playing with fire.Just the fact that this is even mentioned really drives home how crazy it's been since Trump was elected.
We're talking about our neighbor, Canada. Who we formerly got along very well with - for a very long time.
We've had an on-again, off-again relationship with Canada for centuriesJust the fact that this is even mentioned really drives home how crazy it's been since Trump was elected.

From Corn Laws to Trump tirades: A brief history of Canada-U.S. trade wars
Donald Trump’s trade war may lack a modern precedent, but Canada and the U.S. have used tariffs for hundreds of yearswww.thestar.com
Trump just isn't going with the status quo and that's got the spineless sort of weasels usually running things very nervous.
I thought it was Major Disaster???That's the name for Trump. Every post he makes is major breaking.
Agreed, but he's too fucking stupid to believe he'll get burned.Trump is playing with fire.
That, in part, was my point. Trump is upending the apple cart and those who benefit the most from the status quo are upset about it. That doesn't mean Trump's wrong and they're correct, or that they're wrong and Trump is correct, it just means that big change is coming and that makes them nervous. It has investors nervous, too. Extremely nervous. Probably people like farmers & workers in industries like steel, timber, et al.
No one asked for this trade war, or wanted it.
One minor problem: Trump promised better economy. We've had an on-again, off-again relationship with Canada for centuries

And everything that goes sideways over the next 20 years will be Trumps fault just like everything has for most of the last 10.That, in part, was my point. Trump is upending the apple cart and those who benefit the most from the status quo are upset about it. That doesn't mean Trump's wrong and they're correct, or that they're wrong and Trump is correct, it just means that big change is coming and that makes them nervous.
For the TDS and Trump hater crowd, that gives them an opportunity to hand wring and howl about how stupid, mean, and terrible Trump is, nothing more. They'd complain about him no matter what he did.
Like how they complained and hated Biden no matter what? That, in part, was my point. Trump is upending the apple cart and those who benefit the most from the status quo are upset about it. That doesn't mean Trump's wrong and they're correct, or that they're wrong and Trump is correct, it just means that big change is coming and that makes them nervous.

What he's doing might lead to one. We will see.One minor problem: Trump promised better economy.
No, it's not necessarily stupid. Taking risks in business is a necessity in order to achieve big payoffs. Doing 'business as usual' doesn't improve the economy, it just has it chugging along doing the SSDD routine. If anything, a 'business as usual' attitude will eventually lead to failure.Well, this does seem stupid - I don't think it's necessarily "TDS" to say that it's stupid.
MAGAts will never admit that Trump is wrong. That's how you can tell they are MAGAts. Same goes with any political extremists; they never admit that their side makes mistakes nor fess up when a mistake is made. One minor problem: Trump promised better economy.
With his history of bankruptcy? We shall see. What he's doing might lead to one. We will see.
